Creative Inspiration with a Sketch

This elegant floral card was made with the Fragrant Flowers bundle and the coordinating Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper that you can earn free with a $60 order during Sale-a-Bration.
A strip of the geometric patterned Designer Series Paper in Fresh Freesia was added to the left hand side of a Basic White card rectangle. A circle layer was cut from Blackberry Bliss geometric patterned DSP using the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies and used as the base of the the card's focal point.
The floral image from the Fragrant Flowers Cling Stamp set was inked using Mossy Meadow and Fresh Freesia Stampin' Write Markers, and stamped onto Shimmery White Cardstock. Using a water painter brush, the ink from the stamped lines was spread to watercolour the floral image and foliage. Additional ink was added as required from Mossy Meadow and Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin' Pads. The floral image was then die cut using the coordinating die from the Fragrant Flowers Dies.
Using Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss Cardstock pieces with Adhesive Sheets already attached (to make securing these detailed die cuts easier), leaf and bud elements were die cut using additional dies from the Fragrant Flowers set. In order for the outer parts of the leaves and buds to remain unattached and floating, corn starch was brushed over the adhesive backing to prevent those sections from sticking to the underlying layers. The inside parts of the leaves and buds were adhered to the DSP circle, and the die cut floral image added over the top. The whole panel was layered on to a Blackberry Bliss Cardstock mat, and then attached to a Fresh Freesia card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
The "friend" sentiment, again from the Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set, was stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Basic White cardstock, cut to a small rectangular panel, and adhered as the top layer over the floral element using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. 2021-2023 In Color™ Opal Rounds in Fresh Freesia were added as a finishing touch.
