Stampin' Up! Inspiration

Summer is the perfect time to let your creativity grow wildly! There's something extra relaxing about enjoying the sun and then taking a break during the heat of the day to play with some stamps, ink, and paper.

I hope you'll take some time to craft with friends, quietly on your own, or even with the kids this summer. Not sure what to create? Make it easy on yourself, and try one (or a few) of our new all-inclusive kits from the Kits Collection!

This month's Color Inspiration bloomed from the Kerchief Card Kit. I think you'll like the bright, sweet colours, and the gold accents featured in the original inspiration card and the card featuring the new In Symmetry stamp set.

Which new kit is your favourite? Let me know, I'm curious!

Bold, sweet, and a touch of glamorous gold make this month's Colour Inspiration one you'll love to create with again and again!

I was creating with the Kerchief Card Kit  when the Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, Early Espresso, and gold combination from one of the designs caught my eye. I started thinking about other ways to use the colors from the kit.

The first card is one of the two designs from the kit that I created just as designed by the Stampin' Up! artists. I resisted altering it, although the idea of adding another greeting or embossing the vellum layer was tempting!

The second card features the In Symmetry stamp set. It seemed like a fun modern floral twist on the sweet, old-fashioned florals from the Kerchief card, so that's where it all started! I used the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks  with Blending Brushes  to create the torn away background that reveals the luscious brushed gold from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper . Gilded Gems add the perfect, sparkly finishing touch to this fabulous modern card!

What will you create with this Colour Inspiration?
