Our 2023-2025 In Color™ Collection will be retiring soon, and this project uses some of those colours to create a retro-themed card featuring the Tune In Bundle.
 

The retro star image was randomly stamped using Copper Clay Classic Stampin' Ink on the background layer of Copper Clay Cardstock (measuring 4" x 5¼"). A 2½" wide strip of the blue and green plaid patterned paper from the Timeless Plaid 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper was adhered across the centre of the stamped layer.

The television image from the Tune In Photopolymer Stamp Set was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento™ Ink on Boho Blue Cardstock. The legs of the TV element were coloured using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. The antenna and wording were stamped on Basic White Cardstock, again using Tuxedo Black ink, and the antenna coloured using Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. The lightening bolts were stamped on Basic White Cardstock using Wild Wheat ink, and the retro stars stamped using Copper Clay. All of the stamped elements were cut out using the coordinating dies from the Tune In Dies, with the wording cut using the die corresponding to the TV screen element.

The antenna and TV screen were adhered directly to the Boho Blue TV. Smoky Slate Pearls were added to the dials, and the completed TV adhered to the prepared panel. The lightening and retro star elements were adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals™. The finished panel was added to a folded Copper Clay card base, also using Stampin' Dimensionals.

What do you need to do to earn rewards?

You will need to have an online account to earn and manage your rewards. If you already have an online account, you'll need to opt in to the new rewards program. If you don't have an account, you can create your account at stampinup.ca, or I can send you an invitation.

Once your account is created, you'll then need to opt in to earn rewards. Your account will have a personal rewards dashboard where you'll manage your own rewards. Please note that I will not be able to view or manage your rewards for you. If you have more than one online account with Stampin' Up!, you'll want to make sure that you choose one to use going forwards so that your rewards will all be in one place. Online accounts cannot be merged.

Why is Stampin' Up! making this change?

Many orders either did not qualify for host rewards or did not reach the higher reward levels. Now you can earn rewards on all purchases over $25 instead of having to reach $200 to qualify for rewards. Rewards are tracked automatically in your online account, so you will always know what you have available to redeem. This new program is simpler and more rewarding for more customers!

Launch Schedule

The Stampin' Up! website will be unavailable from 8:00 am (MT) on April 15th to integrate the new rewards program. The transition should take around 6 hours, so the site should be up and running again later that day. You'll then be able to shop and start earning your NEW rewards!

If you have orders that you want to qualify for rewards under the current system, you will need to submit them before the new program launches. Unredeemed Starter Kit codes must also be used before the switch. Please make sure you do this before April 13th.

The Fine Print

• The minimum qualifying purchase amount required to earn rewards is the order product full retail value subtotal minus promotions, discounts, and any redeemed rewards.
• You must redeem your Stampin' Rewards within one year. The expiry date may vary according to state, province, or other local legal requirements. You will always be able to view when your rewards will expire within your customer account.
• Full details will be available on the Stampin' Up! website.

Dies don't just coordinate with one stamp set. Sometimes you'll find useful shapes that make the dies worthwhile on their own. The oval shapes in the new Online Exclusive Framed Scenes Dies are a great example of this.
 

The outline floral image from the You Are Remarkable Photopolymer Stamp Set was stamped using Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Ink on a Basic White Cardstock rectangle measuring 3" x 4". Colour was added using the appropriate textured filler stamp image; using Fresh Freesia for the petals, Daffodil Delight for the flower centre, and Old Olive for the leaves. Additional background stamping was added using the dots and sketched lines images from the same stamp set with Fresh Freesia ink.

The stamped panel was adhered to a Fresh Freesia Cardstock layer (3¼" x 4¼") using Stampin' Dimensionals™, and then both were adhered directly to a Basic White Cardstock layer (3½" x 4½"). The layered panel was added to a folded Lemon Lolly card base.

Both ends of a strip of Fresh Freesia Cardstock measuring ⅜" x 3¼" were cut to create the banner, and a 3" length of Fresh Freesia ⅛" Faux Velvet Ribbon was adhered through the centre using a Mini Glue Dot. This was added directly to the left-hand side of the stamped panel, overhanging the layers as shown. The sentiment was stamped using Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and die cut using the smaller oval from the Framed Scenes Dies. The oval element was adhered to the left-hand side of the stamped panel using Stampin' Dimensionals, and Fresh Freesia Starburst Sequins added to complete the card.

Stampin' Up!® is proud to be known for providing the best paper crafting products, and works diligently to manage rising costs to remain competitive without sacrificing quality. Raw material and production costs have continued to rise, and this has particularly affected our cardstock given that only a select few mills are qualified to produce the dyed-through cardstock available in our Colour Collections. This means that some changes to our prices, pack sizes, and overall offering will be made in our new Annual Catalogue (from May 6th).
 

What's Changing?

• 8½" x 11" Basic White and Very Vanilla packs will now contain 24 sheets (currently 40).
• 8½" x 11" single-colour packs (24 sheets) and assortments (20 sheets) will cost $20 (currently $15.75).
• Basic White 8½" x 11" Thick Cardstock will no longer be available.

• 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) single-colour packs (limited range of Basics colours) will now contain 24 sheets (currently 12) and will cost $30.
• 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) assortment packs will be discontinued.
• Basic White Thick Cardstock will be available as 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm), priced at $36.

Haven't tried our Two-Tone Cardstock yet? This white-core printed cardstock has one side showing the full-strength colour and the other side a lighter version of the same colour. It is also lighter in weight than our dyed-through cardstock.
